ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned).
- Communicate and promote the benefits of adaptive technology services to Outlook Nebraska associates and general public both on and off site
- Oversee schedules of training participants and trainers
- Manage trainers including professional development, daily tasks, tech lab projects, time management
- Overseeing expenditures of adaptive tech training (invoicing and budget management)
- Ensuring best possible client training experience (Review client reports for quality of service and trouble shooting, personally introduce and connect with each client regularly, and oversee follow up and quarterly client satisfaction surveys.)
- Assess training participant capacity and determine most appropriate training/education opportunities
- Provide empowering one-on-one and small group adaptive technology training to Outlook Nebraska Associates and members of the general public including youth, seniors, and working age adults
- Develop new adaptive technology training courses.
- Suggest and implement approved enhancements and improvements of services
- Assess and document the implementation and outcomes of services for stakeholders
- Log and record participation in services
- Support implementation of other Enrichment Programs related to adaptive tech
- In conjunction with IT, oversees adaptive technology availability and usage in the Adaptive Tech Lab and client equipment
- Support IT with maintenance of adaptive technology as time permits
- Continue professional development in leadership, management, technology training

Required Education - Experience
- Significant experience with traditional computer system operation and navigation as well as adaptive technologies utilized by the blind and visually impaired
- Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Explorer and other software applications
- Fluency in smart phone technologies for the blind and visually impaired
- Comfort working one-on-one with individuals in a training and leadership capacity
- Clear verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience managing projects, team activities, and processes
- College degree in related field preferred
